3-day PMP Exam Preparation Course


 

Course Details

For those who are ready to become a PMP® (Project Management Professional), this course and the supplementary materials provided are all that you need to prepare you for the PMP® exam.

  • Exam simulation software

In addition to receiving 21 PDU's for the in-class training, participants of this workshop also receive a 6 month subscription to InSite – the optional, yet highly valuable, on-line project management course designed to re-enforce and supplement the in-class PMP® Exam Prep workshop. Participants who complete the InSite on-line training will receive an additional 20 PDU's. The course also includes 6 months access to the InSite PMP® exam simulator. This PMP® Exam simulation can be customized to focus on areas you need the most practice on. Course materials also include detailed course notes, the reference book "The PMP® Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try" by Andy Crowe, FLASH CARDS, CONVERSATIONS on the PMP® Exam, Quick Reference Guide to help you study.

  • The full scope of knowledge areas required for the PMP® exam
  • Proven strategies for how to interpret exam questions correctly and avoid common mistakes
  • Techniques for making sure you do not forget key formulas used during the exam and how they are applied
  • Techniques for making sense of the relationship between the 5 major PM process groups within the PMBOK, how they relate to the 9 knowledge areas and the many PM tools that make up the inputs and outputs within the project management framework

  • The 3-day PMP Exam Preparation course is designed to prepare qualified participants for passing the PMP Exam. To get the most value out of this session, participants should be prepared to write the PMP exam within 2 -3 months of taking this course. Before taking the PMP® Exam Prep course, participants should therefore make sure that they meet the PMI experience requirements for becoming a PMP; visit www.pmi.org for details.

 

  • There is more to being a qualified project manager than passing the PMP exam. Prior to taking the 3-day PMP Exam Preparation course, participants are strongly encouraged to take one of the following courses: Project Management Essentials part 1, Project Management Essentials for Construction, or Foundations of Project Management. These courses will provide participants the hands-on skills necessary to apply project management best where it counts – in the real world, and, together with the 3-day PMP Exam Preparation workshop, will prepare you for a successful career in project management.
